
When deploying a Cisco [ASA](/asa) to allow [AnyConnect](/cisco-anyconnect-ssl-webvpn) clients to connect via a [VPN](/vpn), only one AnyConnect package can be active on any single ASA device.  

It is not possible to run two different AnyConnect packages on the same ASA. This is because if you install a new AnyConnect package on the ASA, it replaces the existing package. The only way to run two packages simultaneously is to actually have two ASAs, each one running a different package.
