DNS - Caching


To display the currently stored [DNS](/dns) entries in the local cache, use the **ipconfig /displaydns** command in the Windows command prompt.

To flush the DNS entries use the **ipconfig /flushdns** command in the Windows command prompt.

By default, windows keeps DNS entries in the cache for 24 hours (86400 seconds)
