MPLS LDP Label Filtering

When employing MPLS Label Filtering, you must:

  1. Configure MPLS so that all LDP advertising is disabled using the no mpls ldp advertise-labels command.
  2. Create an access list or a prefix list that will indicate what networks should have a label and should be advertised.
  3. Use the mpls ldp advertise-labels for command to reference the access list or prefix list so that those networks are given a label and advertised.

This command is in contrast to, and should not be confused with the MPLS Local Label Allocation Filtering feature.
