
[PIM Snooping](/multicast-pim-snooping) is a feature that is supported by certain device IOS versions and platforms.  Specifically for the Cisco 9000 series devices, PIM Snooping is not supported on the CAT 9200 or 9300 series switches, but is supported on the CAT 9500 and 9600 platforms.
