OSPF does not redistribute default route

On Cisco IOS devices, you cannot redistribute a default route into OSPF. You can only inject it using the default-information originate command. This is not a characteristic of the OSPF RFC, but of how Cisco chooses to implement it.

By default, this command will create a Type 2 external route with a metric of 10. This can be modified using the metric and metric-type keywords
