QoS tokens in shaping and policing

When applying QoS features such as policing and shaping, on Cisco devices, the concept of tokens and buckets are used to implementing each mechanism. However, the token represents something different in each case.

For policing, one token represents a single byte of data while for shaping, each token represents a single bit of data.
