Security - GETVPN
Group Encrypted Transport VPN or GETVPN is a tunnel-less VPN technology that is meant for use within private networks. It is primarily used with MPLS networks since MPLS inherently lacks security mechanisms such as encryption, making data transmission vulnerable to interception.
GETVPN can be used with other technologies as well including MetroEthernet, Frame Relay, SD-WAN networks as well as leased lines and dark fiber networks.
In essence, GETVPN can be used over any private network where you want to provide end-to-end encryption without the need for point-to-point VPN tunnels. It is versatile and highly useful for simplifying the management of secure communications in any-to-any network environments.
