Wireless - Meraki Management Mode

When using access points such as the Cisco 9166I, it is possible to configure the device to operate either in Meraki Management mode or in DNA Center Administration mode. The mode that you choose will allow the device to be managed by either the Meraki cloud controller, or a Cisco DNA Center compatible wireless controller.

As stated in Cisco's datasheet:

The Catalyst 9162I, 9164I, and 9166I can convert from the Cisco DNA management mode to the Meraki management mode and vice versa. This converged hardware gives you the flexibility of on-premises or cloud management. It also provides investment protection for the future in case you want to switch between the two management options or between the Cisco DNA management mode and Meraki management mode later on.

In order to achieve the migration, beyond the technical procedure, you must have licensing privileges.
