MPLS - VPN redistributing default route from CE into BGP
In an MPLS topology, when a default route is advertised from a Customer Edge (CE) router to a Provider Edge (PE) router, the command to redistribute the default route into BGP needs to be issued only on the PE router that receives the default route. For instance, if CE1 advertises a default route to PE1, the redistribute command should be issued on PE1 to redistribute this default route into BGP. There is no need to issue the command on PE2 or any other PE router, unless that router also receives a default route from another CE router.
