PBR - Policy Based Routing

Policy Based Routing (PBR) can be used in a router to change the next hop IP address for traffic matching certain criteria. This can be useful to overrule your routing table for certain traffic types.

  • PBR - matching prefix lists
  • PBR next hop verify availability
  • PBR next-hop and default next-hop
  • Policy Based Routing acts on incoming traffic
