FHRP Protocols
First hop redundancy protocols (FHRP) are protocols that deliver gateway redundancy. These protocols include:
- Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP)
- Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP)
- Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP)
